Chartered Clinical Psychologist – Supervisor – Psychotherapist – Co-founder of ChAT Services

Qualifications and experience

I am a Psychotherapist, Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor.  I initially qualified as a Clinical Psychologist and then trained as a Psychotherapist through an extensive 4 year training program in Psycho-Organic Analysis.

I have been actively involved in the psychology field for the past 17 years. Alongside my private practice, I also used to work within the NHS, in different NGOs and schools. Some of my roles included being the Supervisor and Training Manager at a private organisation for Eating Disorders and Special Education Department’s (inclusion department) Lead at a school. Throughout these past 17 years I got the opportunity to expand my professional experience as I deal on a daily basis with a wide variety of cases from all ages and different cultural backgrounds, doing neuropsychological assessments, ADHD/ASD assessments and medico-legal work, as well as psychological therapies and corporate training. I generally work with adults, children and their families as well as with groups and couples.

Current work and interests

Currently, alongside my client work at Chat Services, I have a growing interest in infertility counselling, which is the main theme of my PhD thesis, exploring the psycho-social impact of infertility issues on mental health and couple’s therapy related to infertility.  I had the pleasure of speaking about the subject at the World Congress for Psychotherapy in Paris in 2017.

On the other hand, I have been expanding my expertise in neuropsychology, neurodiversity and learning difficulties and I am the leading clinician of the Neurodiversity and Learning Needs section at Chat Services.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person is unique, therefore would have unique therapeutic needs. That is why I use a multi-dimensional approach specifically tailored to your difficulty and need. My goal is to offer you a safe and non-judgmental place where you can explore your desires, express yourself freely, and make the changes you aim for to overcome your struggles. I can offer you the possibility to fully engage in the therapeutic process by expressing yourself in you native language French, Arabic or English.
