About Me
Hello, I’m a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for helping people make sense of their emotional world and move toward meaningful change. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults from a wide range of cultural and personal backgrounds. Whether in one-to-one settings, groups, or family therapy, my goal is always to offer a safe and respectful space where people feel truly seen and heard.
Qualifications and Experience
HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and BABCP-accredited CBT Therapist, with a strong grounding in evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, CFT, and ACT, and family therapy.
Experienced in delivering psychological assessment and therapy across a diverse range of NHS services. I have supported individuals facing a broad spectrum of challenges including: anxiety, depression, trauma and complex PTSD , paediatrics and adolescent; relationship and family difficulties, personality and eating disorders, neurodiversity, learning disabilities and physical health conditions. As I work across the lifespan I strive to ensure that I am always offering support that’s sensitive to both an individuals developmental and emotional needs. I am passionate about trauma-informed, and collaborative, formulation-led practice and contributing to the development of inclusive, collaborative mental health services.
My Approach
I work integratively, tailoring my therapy to your individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. Rather than focusing too much on choosing a specific therapeutic approach – which can sometimes feel overwhelming, I prefer to explore those options together as part of our conversation. I find it more helpful to think of therapy as a journey, where different approaches are like various routes on a map, all offering differnt routes but toward the same destination of growth and understanding. The important part of this journey is that you feel comfortable walking it with me alongside you. I aim to build a therapeutic relationship based on trust, collaboration, and curiosity, helping clients gain insight into their experiences and supporting you to move forward in a way that aligns with your values.
Interests
My undergraduate degree was a combined honors of Psychology and Neuroscience and I have a keen interest health psychology and the mind-body connection—how our emotional life impacts physical health, and vice versa. I also enjoy continually learning about the impact of early relationships and trauma on development, with a keen interest in attachment psychology, which I believe is the basis of so much of our world view.
