Occupational Therapist
About me

I am a qualified Occupational Therapist with specialist training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach. I have experience working across a range of settings, including adult mental health and paediatrics, which has given me a broad and well-rounded perspective on supporting individuals at different stages of life.

My main area of expertise is paediatric occupational therapy. I am passionate about supporting the holistic development of children with a wide range of clinical needs, including functional, sensory, and motor difficulties. I focus on creating innovative, individualised interventions that help children build confidence, develop essential skills and reach their full potential—particularly within educational settings.

My Approach

I take a client-centred approach to therapy, with the aim of enhancing independence and functional ability. I believe it is important for clients and families to be actively involved in decision-making, goal setting, and problem-solving throughout the therapeutic process. Therapy sessions are built around meaningful activities, which are carefully graded or adapted to match each child’s abilities—providing the right balance of challenge and achievable success

Interventions Offered

• Fine and gross motor skill development

• Self-care and activities of daily living

• Play-based interventions
